Quality assurance, validation, and verification remain integral throughout the development lifecycle, and expedience is never treated as justification for compromising the standards required for a product or solution to carry the Ember Foundry Labs name.

Ember Foundry Labs operates independently, providing the Foundry with the flexibility to evaluate opportunities according to their purpose, engineering requirements, potential value, and alignment with the company's principles. This independence allows the Foundry to apply its knowledge and expertise where they can provide meaningful value while retaining the discretion to decline opportunities that do not align with the intended user experience, engineering requirements, or principles of Ember Foundry Labs. Projects and products can therefore be pursued deliberately, with decisions guided by what should be built and how it should be engineered rather than by convention, scale, or external expectations alone.

This independence does not remove the need for collaboration, outside expertise, or established technologies. Instead, it preserves the Foundry's ability to determine when those resources strengthen a project while maintaining responsibility for the standards required of anything carrying the Ember Foundry Labs name.
